85 <br />City of Santa Ana <br />of the demands for 9-1-1 Emergency Transportation Service calls within the City of <br />Santa Ana. <br />1.2.3 BLS and ALS Services <br />All Transportation Personnel assigned to perform 9-1-1 Emergency <br />Transportation Services under this Contract, whether under the First Tier Service and <br />Mutual Aid Service, will provide Basic Life Support ("BLS") services and transport <br />patients to medical facilities when required. OCFA, in cooperation with the <br />Transportation Personnel, will provide on -scene Advanced Life Support ("ALS") <br />services. <br />1.2.4 Minimum Qualifications of Transportation Personnel <br />All Transportation Personnel assigned to perform 9-1-1 Emergency <br />Transportation Service under this Contract, whether under the First Tier Service and <br />Mutual Aid Service, must at all times meet the minimum qualifications as listed in <br />Section 5 of this RFP. <br />1.2.5 Compensation. <br />A. The winning Contractor's bid shall include the cost to provide both the First Tier <br />and Mutual Aid Service. Contractor's sole compensation for providing all of the <br />9-1-1 Emergency Transportation Services under both the First Tier and Mutual <br />Aid Service will be the amount bid. Contractor will not be entitled to bill City, or <br />OCFA, or any of its customers any additional amount for any services provided <br />under this Contract, unless it is first approved in writing by City of Santa Ana and <br />the OCFA. <br />B. Contractor's bid will include the provision of the Mutual Aid Service to the degree <br />those services are required.
