Each affected employee shall be afforded the opportunity to submit selection(s) for use of <br />accrued vacation, holiday leave or compensatory time off and the Police Chief or his <br />designee shall make every reasonable effort to accommodate the employee's <br />preference(s). The time at which an employee shall take his or her leave (vacation, <br />holidays or compensatory time off) shall be determined by the Police Chief, with due <br />regard for the wishes of the employee and particular regard for the needs of the service. <br />65D-46 <br />
