FIRM AND TEAM EXPERIENCE <br />FIRM PROFILE <br />Founded in 1987, KOA is a leading provider in traffic engineering, <br />transportation planning and construction management services <br />for public agencies and private sector clients. We can assign S Corporation <br />staff from any office in the firm, as needed. <br />RESUMES OF PROJECT TEAM & KEY PERSONNEL <br />Resumes for our key project staff are attached at the end of this <br />proposal. Our primary staff will consist of the project manager, assistant <br />project manager, principal -in -charge, and the QA/QC manager. <br />Additional key proposed staff include KOA and subconsultant task <br />leaders. The main contact will be the proposed project manager, Mr. <br />Ray Wang. He will be supported by the assistant project manager, Ms. <br />Thao Le, who can be contacted when Mr. Wang is not available. Key <br />staff assignments are shown in the organization chart on the following <br />page. <br />We have assembled a strong team of active transportation designers <br />for the Bush Street Bicycle Boulevard project. The project design will <br />be led by project manager, Mr. Ray Wang, PE, due to his 23 years of <br />experience with street improvement projects, green design, and water <br />quality management. He will focus on utility, drainage, pavement, <br />rehabilitation, ADA compliance, and water quality issues. Ms. Thao Le <br />is the assistant project manager and will be the main point of contact <br />for the project. She has been Involved with more than 14 miles of bike <br />boulevard design, having designed traffic calming treatments such as <br />roundabouts, traffic circles, bulb -outs, and signing and striping. She <br />has played a big role in managing project schedules and budgets, <br />coordinating with city and utility agencies, scheduling public outreach <br />events, and bike boulevard design. Mr. Waiter Okitsu is highly respected <br />in the traffic engineering industry.
