Conceptual designs, design simulations, and <br />alternatives for 1.3 miles of landscape improvements along both sides <br />of the elevated Metro Rail tracks between Tulare Avenue and the <br />Burbank Empire Center paralleling San Fernando Boulevard. Proposed <br />improvements include 12' wide bike paths, welded wire fencing, gravel <br />buffer zones, evergreen shade trees, flowering trees to match existing, <br />planters with low water use screening and accent plants, and high <br />efficiency irrigation systems. Landscape compliments the currently <br />under construction adjacent improvements at the Empire Avenue <br />Extension.. <br />Los Angeles River Bikeway (Mason/Van Alden), Los Angeles, CA <br />Principal in Charge/Landscape Architecture. Prepared preliminary plans <br />for a phased 2 mile stretch along the Los Angeles River from Mason <br />Avenue to Van Alden Avenue.
