RESUMES <br />CALVIN YOSHITAKE, PS <br />LAND SURVEY TASK LEADER <br />Guida I Senior Engineer <br />Mr. Calvin Yoshitake has 43 years of experience in surveying, project <br />management, and business development. Mr. Yoshitake is highly <br />experienced in all aspects of surveying. He has managed both field and <br />office operations for all phases of surveying and mapping services. This <br />includes control network survey, aerial photogrammetry, design surveys, <br />ground penetrating radar survey (GPR), as -built surveys, monument <br />preservation, constructability review, construction staking, construction <br />management survey support, right-of-way surveys, and mapping. His <br />expertise extends into reading and preparing legal descriptions, plats, <br />record maps, corner records, earthwork calculations and the accurate <br />monitoring and reporting of movement and settlement of facilities. <br />RELEVANT EXPERIENCE <br />Orange County Transportation Authority (OCTA), 1-406 Design <br />Build Project, Orange County, CA <br />Survey Project Manager. Mr. Yoshitake managed the work consisting of <br />control network survey, 24 bridge surveys, 7 channel surveys, 4 miles <br />of street design surveys, pothole and borehole location surveys and <br />mapping. Calvin coordinated work with the Design Project Manager, <br />three Lead Segment Design Managers, Pothole subconsultant, Borehole <br />subconsultant, Railroad, Orange County Flood Control District, Orange <br />County Sanitation District, and other agencies. This project completed <br />about 40 miles of surveys on streets, railroads, and freeways. <br />San Gabriel Valley Council of Governments (SGVCOG)-Montebello <br />Corridor Grade Separation Project, Phases 1,2 and 3, Montebello, <br />CA <br />Survey Project Manager. Mr. Yoshitake managed the survey work for <br />the grade separation, 1 pedestrian overpass and 3 Quiet Zone quad <br />gate crossings for 1.4 miles. The work consisted of control network <br />survey, 1 mile of street design survey, 1.4 miles of railroad surveying, <br />flood control tunnel, right-of-way surveying, and mapping. This project <br />covered more than 230 acres of aerial mapping and 650 acres of digital <br />orthophotos. <br />City of Long Beach, Long Beach Master Plan Implementation, <br />Long Beach, CA <br />Survey Project Manager.
