Spiral Case <br />Top & Bottom <br />Covers <br />Chamber facings <br />/ Cheek Plates <br />Main Shaft Seal <br />(overhung <br />design) <br />Guide Vanes <br />Fixing to the generator shaft will be by keyway, flange connection or <br />hydraulic locking device. <br />Material Ductile Spheroidal Graphite Cast Iron to BSEN1563 Gr: <br />450/10 <br />Single casting with horizontal inlet. <br />The casting will be complete with hand hole covers, drain outlet, <br />manual valves and all necessary joints, tappings, pipework, brackets <br />and foundation bolts. <br />Material: Ductile Iron ASTM A536 GR 60-45-10 <br />Fitted with self-lubricating bearings for the guide vane shafts. <br />The operating ring cylindrical extension piece will be fitted with a <br />bearing liner in cast leaded gun metal to BS EN1982 CC491K. <br />Material—Stainless Steel to BSEN10293: 2005 or ASTM A743 CA6NM <br />or C95xxx Aluminum Bronze <br />Replaceable wearing chamber facing plates, secured to the turbine <br />top and bottom covers by counter sunk screws. The covers will be <br />fully machined, and fitted with loose stainless steel wear rings and <br />facing plates. <br />Proprietary throttle bush and labyrinth incorporating catchment <br />chamber and pipe. <br />Material 13/4 Chrome Steel to BSEN10293: 2005 or ASTM A743 <br />CA6 N M <br />Single castingwith fully machined spindles, part hand finished blades. <br />The spindles extend through the inlet cover through bronze bushes <br />which are self -lubricated by graphite filled spiral grooves requiring no <br />additional external lubrication. 'C' ring seals prevent any leakage <br />between the spindles and bushes. A PTFE thrust bearing is <br />incorporated for each guide vane. <br />The guide vane levers will be connected to the guide vane by <br />clamping their split bosses on the guide vane drive spindle. This will <br />provide a friction hold to permit slip should a guide vane become <br />19H-91 <br />
