Trust „ that increases funding for initiatives <br />Police Career <br />Pathway <br />that promote public trust and <br />promote law enforcement <br />community engagement strategies. <br />Support legislation that increases <br />funding for cities to promote a <br />program that encourages local youth <br />to pursue a career with their local <br />police department. <br />latest Policing Philosophy, and will <br />soon be publishing its 5 Year Strategic <br />Plan specific to the needs of our <br />community. Both documents are <br />based on wide spread community <br />eneaeement and input. <br />(SAPD) Department continues to <br />support the Department's Explorer <br />Post, which recruits high school <br />students from the community. <br />Additionally, the Department is in the <br />process of re -vamping its Cadet <br />program with outreach planned into <br />local Universities to enhance future <br />hiring initiatives. <br />Community and Economic Development <br />The city will work to encourage businesses to locate and invest in our community to bolster our <br />local economy. The City of Santa Ana will work aggressively to facilitate diverse housing <br />opportunities and support efforts to preserve and improve the livability of Santa Ana <br />neighborhoods. <br />INITIATIVE SUMMARY <br />Medical and Support legislation and regulatory <br />Recreational actions that maintain local control, <br />Cannabis 1 considers health and safety <br />requirements, provides for community <br />SCORECARD <br />(TPA) Provided the City with <br />ongoing information on the <br />development and adoption of <br />permanent regulations for the adult <br />education opportunities, and increases use of cannabis.
