These capacity improvements involve roadway widening
and/or re-striping to reconfigure (add lanes) to specific approaches of a key intersection. The
identified improvements are expected to:
 mitigate the impact of existing traffic, Project traffic and future non-project (ambient traffic
growth and cumulative project) traffic and
 improve Levels of Service to an acceptable range and/or to pre-project conditions.
10.1 Existing Plus Project Traffic Conditions
The results of the intersection capacity analysis presented previously in Table 8-1 shows that the
proposed Project will not significantly impact any of the four (4) key study intersections under the
“Existing Plus Project” traffic scenario. Given that there are no significant project impacts, no
improvements are required under this traffic scenario.
10.2 Year 2019 Plus Project Traffic Conditions
The results of the intersection capacity analyses presented previously in Table 8-2 shows that the
proposed Project will not significantly impact any of the four (4) key study intersections under the
“Year 2019 Plus Project” traffic scenario. Given that there are no significant project impacts, no
improvements are required under this traffic scenario.

2-107
