May 3, 2018
To whom it May concern:
My name is Reyna Artero, I am originally from the state of Puebla, Mexico I have volunteer for
more than 6 years at the Cultural Center of Mexico and for the last 3 years I have participated in
el Dia del Nino event, with myjewelry making workshop, which It Is a great responsibility for
me but it is also a unique experience.
I arrived at the Cultural Center of Mexico to get closer to my culture and traditions. This has
allowed me to participate in different projects of the Center.
On Children's Day I have the opportunity to show my skills as a community leader by acting as
volunteer coordinator for the entire event, as well as transmitting my knowledge as an artist
with the jewelry workshop of recycled materials.
I am part of the Manus Unidas Creating Art Cooperative and through paper we create art, so it
is a pleasure to share this knowledge with the children participating in el Dia del Nino in Santa
Ana for the last three years.
The encouragement of culture and art makes me feel very proud, since I share this experience
with children and their families, which allows us to be better people and be a better
community.
Sincerely, 4 r6
r
Reyna Artero
