Question 3: How will the proposed project be presented or shared with the public? Will the <br />art display, event or performance be free and accessible to the public? <br />Day of the Child Event will take place on April 28th, 2019 at Birch Park. Where attendees will <br />have the opportunity to create their own piece of art while enjoying performances on stage from <br />local groups. <br />Question 4: How will this project enrich the quality of life for Santa Ana residents?: <br />EI Dia del Nino/Day of the Child event is Santa Ana's way of bringing together tradition, community <br />organizations, families, students, and businesses. Participants will find themselves as creative <br />and capable of meaningful participation regardless of skill level and creating her/his own art. EI <br />Dia del Nino/Day of the Child event serves to strengthen the relationship among participating <br />artists and independent contractors who live and work in our community. These artists gain <br />valuable experience on how to engage audiences in ways they may not have explored. <br />Furthermore, the community is offered a unique way to tap into their own creativity through <br />collaboration with highly -skilled practitioners engaging in diverse arts activities representing all <br />disciplines and different cultural traditions. An unintended benefit has also resulted in that the <br />neighborhood now has embraced the potential of a neglected urban park that is rarely visited by <br />children. <br />Question 5: Describe how your project will stimulate economic development for the City <br />of Santa Ana.: <br />This event is an opportunity to create jobs by hiring local artists. <br />EI Centro Cultural de Mexico <br />Page 2 of 2 <br />
