EXHIBIT B — OUTLINE SPECIFICATIONS <br />DIVISION 2 <br />c) Broadloom loop pile carpet shall have inherent static control capability to <br />assure a maximum 3.5 KV rating at 20 percent relative humidity and 70' F as <br />measured by American Association of Textile Chemists and Colorists <br />(AATCC) Test Method 134. <br />d) Carpet shall be installed according to manufacturer's guidelines. The carpet <br />shall be securely attached; have a firm cushion, pad or backing; and be of <br />level loop, textured loop, level -cut pile, or level-cut/uncut pile texture. The <br />maximum pile height shall be inch. <br />e) The carpet backing shall have a minimum 10-year guarantee against tuft pull <br />and zippering, and surface wear shall not be more than 10 percent within 10 <br />years. <br />f) Carpet adhesives shall be non -toxic, low -odor, solvent -free, and shall not <br />produce toxic vapors or contain carcinogenic materials. <br />g) Carpet shall meet federal, state and local flammability standards. <br />h) Carpet shall be installed in accordance with the Carpet and Rug Institute <br />(CRI) Carpet Installation Standard. The installation shall be guaranteed <br />against bubbling, wrinkling, stretching/shrinking, opening seams, or other <br />evidence of poor materials and workmanship for a period of two years <br />following installation. This guarantee shall cover normal wear and tear and <br />note deficiencies occurring as a result of damage, negligence and/or <br />alterations. The materials shall be guaranteed against wear, delamination, <br />tuft bind and be lightfast for a period of 10 years. The material shall remain <br />colorfast as a result of atmospheric contaminants for a period of five years <br />after installation. <br />i) Lessor shall maintain the carpet according to manufacturer's guidelines. <br />C. Broadloom carpet requirements: <br />1. Density: 6000 minimum; heavy commercial use. <br />2. Density: 36x finished pile weight divided by pile height. <br />3. Tuft bind for broadloom shall be minimum 6 lbs., ASTM D 1335-98, Standard Test <br />Method for Tuft Bind (edge ravel) of Pile Yarn Floor Coverings, tested wet or <br />dry. Warranty edge ravel for 10 years. <br />4. Face yarn weight: Minimum 22 oz./sq. yd. <br />5. Minimum of 10 Ibs backing delamination test, ASTM D 3936-05 Standard Test <br />Method for Resistance to Delamination of the Secondary Backing of Pile Yarn <br />Floor Covering. <br />6. Minimum rating of 7 anti -stain tests; AATCC Test Method 175-2008 Stain <br />Resistance Pile Floor Coverings. <br />7. Lessor shall provide 2 percent of product overage, including accent carpet, up to a <br />maximum of 100 sq. yards from the same dye lot for future repairs. <br />15 <br />Rev. March 2019 <br />
