EXHIBIT B — OUTLINE SPECIFICATIONS <br />DIVISION 2 <br />D. Carpet tile requirements: <br />1. Density: 5000 minimum; heavy commercial use. <br />2. Tuft bind strength shall be minimum 5 lbs., ASTM D 1335-98: Standard Test <br />Method for Tuft Bind (edge ravel) of Pile Yarn Floor Coverings, tested wet or dry. <br />Warranty edge ravel for 10 years. <br />a) Face yarn weight: Minimum 16,oz./sq, yd, <br />b) Minimum of 10 lb$., backing delamination test, per ASTM D 3936-05 Standard <br />Test Method foi ,Resistance to Delamination of the Secondary Backing of Pile <br />Yarn Floo`nCovering. <br />c) Minimum`ratfng of 7 anti -stain tests, per AATCC Test Method 175-2008 Stain <br />Resistance Pile Floor Coverings, <br />d) Lessor shall provide 2 percent of product overage, including accent carpet, up to a <br />rp6ximum of 100 sq. yards from the same dye lot for future repairs. <br />E. Cerarriic tile flooring requirements: <br />T: `Ceramic tile flooring shall have a coefficient of friction of at least 0.6 per ASTM C <br />1028 (0'.8 percent on sloped surfaces steeper than 6 percent). Unless otherwise <br />note¢. by DGS, provide slip -resistant floor the with matching wall tile base, and <br />include all inner and outer corner and trim pieces. All adhesives, mastics, and <br />grouts shall be non -toxic and low in volatile organic compound (VOC) emissions <br />and shall be as recommended"by the ceramic the manufacturer. All grout shall be <br />sealedand maintained according tolnanufacturer's guidelines. <br />,F. Resilient.flooring requirements: <br />1. ; Resilient flooring shall meet ASTM F 1066, FS SS-T-312B, Type; IV, Composition <br />;1, Class 2, 12" x 12"'having uniform thickness of 1/8" with square true edges of <br />manufacturer's standard color' and pattern as selected. Product shall comply with <br />all regulations controlling the use of VOCs. Provide one carton (40 pieces) of <br />additional matching Floor tile. <br />2. Resilient flooring shall have a coefficient of friction of at least 0.6 per ASTM D <br />2047.-If shall be installed in strict accordance with manufacturer's approved <br />installation instructions using the appropriate recommended 100 percent solvent - <br />free adhesive. ' <br />G. Rubber base requirements: <br />1.` :Lessor shall provide and install cove wall base at all carpet and resilient floor -finish <br />areas. Wall base shall be extruded rubber cove, 1/8" thick x 4' high complying with <br />ASTM F-1861. The color shall be selected by DGS. <br />2.2 EXTERIOR WALLS <br />A. Exterior walls, including door and window assemblies, shall be weatherproof. All cracks <br />that allow outside air to penetret6 the building's envelope shall be sealed. <br />B. Exterior walls shall be insulated to comply with CCR Title 24, <br />2.3 INTERIOR WALLS, PARTITIONS AND VESTIBULES <br />A. Walls and partitions shall be ceiling height unless otherwise noted in Exhibit "A" or <br />Division 3 'Special Provisions.' Subject to code limitations, those indicated as new <br />partitions may be wood or metal stud with plaster or gypsum wallboard or other <br />construction of equal sound transmission coefficient (STC).
