Authorize the submission of the Fiscal Year 2019 - 2020 Annual Action Plan to the United States Department of Housing and Urban Development and designate the Community Development Agency Executive Director as the Certifying Official authorized to execute all documents related to the administration, management and implementation of the CDBG, HOME and ESG Programs. COMMUNITY REDEVELOPMENT AND HOUSING COMMISSION RECOMMENDATION At a Regular Meeting on March 27, 2019, the Community Redevelopment and Housing Commission (CRHC) recommended that the City Council approve the FY 2019-20 Annual Action Plan and authorize submission of the FY 2019-20 Annual Action Plan to the United States Department of Housing and Urban Development by a vote of 9:0. DISCUSSION Each year, the City of Santa Ana receives funding from various formula grant allocation programs administered by the United States Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). These federal grant funds provide valuable services to the community for affordable and supportive housing, community development, public services, and economic development. The programs 75C-1
