This proposal would provide up to 1 outreach and short informational session per month. Alternatively, OC Human Relations staff may be called upon to convene and facilitate a Community Focus Meeting of residents to identify and discuss community challenges. C) Conflict Resolution Support Services ($4,500) —OC Human Relations Staff will dedicate time to providing continued support on an as needed basis when situations require a mediator to help resolve a dispute. OCHR Staff will provide case intake and assessments and conduct mediations when appropriate, This proposal would provide up to 10 hours per month of consultation and mediation services. Part ershi Re uirements: As part of our partnership with the City of Santa Ana, we would require a meeting space in which to conduct the trainings and outreach events on the dates to be determined, as well as refreshments and child care for the participants when appropriate. The City of Santa Ana would help to identify and organize the monthly outreach events as needed. For Cedar Evergreen and other specific neighborhood residents, we believe we would have the best attendance if the event was held In a facility within walking distance. OC Human Relations will provide the staff, curriculum and training materials for all trainings and will provide staff mediators to handle mediation casework as needed and as per our agreement.
