DESIGN GUIDELINES 1 4 <br />Examples of private open space amenities, including fire pits, cabanas, and <br />lounge seating. <br />TTT <br />Private/Amenity Spaces <br />DG - 230 Landscaping in private open space areas should <br />complement the architectural style of the adjacent <br />buildings. <br />DG - 231 Consideration should be given to the final size of trees <br />within private open space areas to ensure that they match <br />the scale of the surrounding area. <br />DG - 232 Trees with excessive fruit or leaf litter should be avoided <br />adjacent to pedestrian spaces, walkways, and water <br />features. <br />DG - 233 Trees and shrubs should be placed to provide privacy for <br />units facing onto private open space areas. <br />DG - 234 Hotels should provide usable common open space, which <br />may include pools, sport courts, lounging areas, play <br />structures, and other uses. <br />DG - 235 Separate Play areas and equipment for children of all ages <br />should be provided in large developments for safety <br />reasons. Small developments may combine play areas. <br />This should be shown on landscape and hardscape plans <br />which will require design review. <br />D.
