Resolution Approving Water Supply Assessment for the Elan Mixed -Use Project Located at 1660 E. First <br />Street <br />July 2, 2019 <br />Page 2 <br />City has, adequate supply to service the project upon completion and recommends that Council <br />adopt a resolution approving this assessment (Exhibit 2). <br />This is the second Water Supply Assessment brought for Council's specific review and <br />consideration since the completion of the UWMP. City staff will evaluate future Water Supply <br />Assessments by adjusting the demand projections of the UWMP for the anticipated demand of this <br />project to determine the unutilized water supply available for additional development. When the <br />future revised 2020 UWMP is filed again, any current or projected water demand from this project <br />will be incorporated in the new baseline consumer water demand projections. <br />STRATEGIC PLAN ALIGNMENT <br />Approval of this item supports the City's efforts to meet Goal #3 — Economic Development Objective <br />#3 (promote a solutions -based customer focus in all efforts to facilitate development and investment <br />in the community); and, Goal #5 — Community Health, Livability, Engagement & Sustainability, <br />Objective #2 (expand opportunities for conservation and environmental sustainability). <br />ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT <br />There is no environmental impact associated with this action. <br />FISCAL IMPACT <br />There is no fiscal impact associated with this action <br />Fuad Siss, PE, PL, <br />Executi4 Director <br />Public rks Agency <br />FS/NS/RR <br />Exhibits: 1.
