Award a construction contract to All American Asphalt, the lowest responsible <br />bidder, in accordance with the base bid in the amount of $1,716,649, for <br />construction of the Local Street Preventative Maintenance Fiscal Year 2018-19 <br />Project, for the term beginning upon execution of the contract and ending upon <br />project completion, and authorize the City Manager and the Clerk of the Council <br />to execute the contract subject to non-substantive changes approved by the City <br />Manager and the City Attorney. <br /> <br />2. Approve the Project Cost Analysis for a total estimated construction delivery cost <br />of $1,900,000, which includes $1,716,649 for the construction contract, $115,351 for <br />contract administration, inspection and testing, and a $68,000 project <br />contingency (approximately 4% of the construction contract amount), paid with <br />Measure M2 Local Fairshare funding. <br /> <br /> <br />AGREEMENTS <br /> <br />25A. AWARD $474,770 OF WORKFORCE INNOVATION AND OPPORTUNITY ACT <br />FORMULA YOUTH FUNDS FOR FISCAL YEAR 2019-20 {STRATEGIC PLAN NO. <br />2, 4} - Community Development Agency <br /> <br />At its regular meeting on May 16, 2019, by a vote of 13-0 (Alegre, Baetz, Korthuis, Smith <br />absent), the Workforce Development Board approved the recommended action. <br /> <br /> RECOMMENDED ACTION: Authorize the City Manager and the Clerk of the <br />Council to execute agreements to award a total of $474,770 in youth program funds <br />as part of the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act for a one-year term <br />beginning July 1, 2019 through June 30, 2020, subject to non-substantive changes <br />approved by the City Manager and City Attorney: <br /> <br />a.
