design, <br />YOUNG JAMES PARK <br />Sr. Plan Checker <br />Summary of Experience <br />Mr. Park has over 31 years of plan check review experience in Land <br />Development Divisions and construction of public works CIP <br />projects. He his in-depth experience includes land development and <br />processing expertise, handling land development entitlement for <br />large and small scale development projects and conducting <br />engineering plan check review for public improvements that consist <br />of subdivision map, grading, erosion control, SWPPP, WQMP, LID, <br />parks, street, sewer, water, and storm drain. He has also <br />prepared grading plans, erosion and sediment control plans, street <br />improvements, storm drain, hydrology and hydraulic report, sewer <br />and water plans, SWPPPs and WQMPs for developments. <br />In addition, he has developed the preliminary project design, <br />coordinated with other agencies and acted as a design resource for <br />team members. Young has trained and mentored professional staff <br />and engineers, particularly associated with plan check review. <br />He has reviewed applications as well as grading, improvement plans, <br />final maps and tentative tract and parcel map for various private <br />subdivision projects. He has also reviewed Specific Plans for large <br />scale development (Dos Lagos and Arentine Specific Plans at Cajalco <br />Street and I -15) consisting of master plan infrastructure facilities <br />including water, sewer, storm drain system, traffic circulation, roadway <br />Mass grading, assessment of development impact fees and all other necessary provisions. <br />Mr. Park has attended DPR (Development Planning Review) and PRC (Planning Review Committee) <br />meetings to present conditions of approval and comments to development plans and tentative map for <br />processing subdivision, commercial, industrial, residential development plans. He also coordinated <br />with developers and engineers and other public agencies to resolve and mitigate engineering complex <br />during construction of improvements. <br />Relevant Experience <br />Agency: City of Buena Park <br />Contract Title: Larwin Park improvements and Medivai Times Parking Lot Expansion <br />Scope of services: Mr. Park was responsible for the design engineering of plans and plan check for <br />drain Improvements, WQMP, and SWPPP for rehabilitation including park amenities at Larwin Park, <br />located on Ball Avenue east of Valley View in City of Buena Park. HE was also responsible for plan <br />check and design engineering for the Medival Time parking lot expansion in the City of Buena Park to <br />expand parking lots and LID improvements. <br />Agency: City of Industry; City of Placentia <br />Contract Title: Private Development Plan check and Management <br />Scope of services: As a contract City Engineer Mr. Young provided civil engineering plan check for <br />private developments, including the review of engineering plans (e.g., street, sewer, waterline, storm <br />drain, rough and fine grading plans, erosion control plans and other engineering reports). <br />Agency: City of Bell <br />Contract Title: Municipal Engineering <br />Scope of services: As Senior Engineer, Mr, Yond was responsible for handling contract and counter <br />administration for public works projects, including entitlement processing for private development; and <br />251Pa;e <br />25F-177 <br />
