KAHONO OEI <br />Sr. Plan Checker <br />Summary of Experience <br />Mr. Oei possesses over 30 years of extensive experience in all <br />aspects of Municipal engineering and inspection services. He was <br />responsible for plan checking of residential and commercial projects in <br />conformance with state codes, zoning codes, energy codes, and local <br />codes. He reviewed and approved building construction documents <br />according to code regulations, civil design, and local zoning <br />regulations. <br />Mr. Oei has also reviewed grading, sewer, storm drain, erosion control, soils report data, structural <br />engineering, shoring work, drainage plans, retaining structures, building seismic design, and complex <br />foundation evaluation. Additional duties included technical assistance to members of the public, <br />architects, engineers, and contractors; issuing building permits and performing Feld inspections <br />according to plan specifications; training staff members and inspectors; and coordinating with City <br />consultants on engineering and code issues. <br />Mr. Cal has reviewed many plans to make sure they're in compliance with City codes and ordinances, <br />rules and regulations. These plans have included Subdivision maps, parcel maps, site plans, and <br />other development submittals. <br />He has reviewed these plans for the following: <br />• Current legal description <br />• Accuracy of assessor's parcel being subdivided <br />• Mathematical closure of subdivision boundary, individual lots, and public right-of-way <br />dedication <br />• Lot areas <br />• Accuracy of conformance to all conditions of approval in the subdivision resolution in <br />appropriate jurisdiction <br />• Conformance of subdivision or parcel map with the tentative map <br />He has prepared a comprehensive written list of comments and submitted it to the City highlighting all <br />major issue while providing the specific design engineer/developer the opportunity to prepare a <br />proposed resolution if they disagree with any of the comments. <br />He has also plan checked improvement designs for conformance to the City's checklist and local <br />standards. The plan check Included plan review process for public rights of way, such as street <br />improvements, utility easements, drainage systems, encroachment permits, and traffic flow, <br />concurrently with the plan review of onsite developments. <br />He has reviewed grading plans including: <br />• Compared grading plans with improvement plans <br />• Reviewed plans for conformance with soils report <br />• Reviewed plans to ensure compliance with applicable City codes and ordinances <br />241Pagc <br />25F-176 <br />
