Examples are Century City, Newport Fashion Square, Fluor <br /> Corporation and several others. <br /> A TSM Program could include some combination of the following: <br /> 1. Preferential parking for ride-sharing vehicles <br /> 2. Transit subsidy - in a dollar amount at least equal to <br /> the value of parking otherwise provided <br /> 3. Flex time and staggered hours and work schedules <br /> 4. Promotion of pedestrian and bicycle traffic <br /> 5. Employer-sponsored car pool/van pool/bus pooi programs <br /> 6. Transit system coordination (developers working with OCTD <br /> to set up programs to maximize use of transit) <br /> 7. The elimination of the "hidden subsidy' for <br /> single-occupant vehicles (by paying all employees the <br /> equivalent of the free market value of parking, then <br /> charging for parking - thus only parking users would pay <br /> the cost of parking). <br /> 105
