1 8. ERIC SCANDRETT: <br />2 Hi, my name is Eric Scandrett and I want to <br />3 just make some comments. First of all, we appreciate <br />4 this opportunity and I've been very active in <br />5 neighborhood association work here in Santa Ana. And <br />6 all of our neighborhoods are organized in this part of <br />7 the city. <br />8 We are very anxious for this company, once they <br />9 know where they're going and what they're doing, that <br />10 they come out and talk at the neighborhood association <br />11 meetings so that the residents feel that they are being <br />12 included in this project. That will help a lot in terms <br />13 of getting support and it will help you folks know what <br />14 some of the people that live within a mile or so of here <br />15 are really interested in seeing happen with this mall. <br />16 I think that you need to know that north <br />17 Santa Ana, there's about seven or eight neighborhood <br />18 associations, and we are the only part of Santa Ana that <br />19 does not have a senior citizens center. If that could <br />20 somehow be worked through a lease with the city so that <br />21 we have a senior citizens center in this complex, I <br />22 think that people would really appreciate it. I think <br />23 they would support it. I think it would bring a lot of <br />24 people into the complex. I think that's all I have. <br />25 I appreciate the opportunity.
