The base material shall also be <br />compacted to slightly above the optimum moisture <br />content and a dry density of at least 95 percent of the <br />laboratory maximum. <br />- Rigid concrete pavement (described below) shall be placed <br />in driveway entrance aprons and trash bin loading/storage <br />areas. Concrete pavement design is provided in the <br />following section. <br />• Concrete Pavement: Concrete pavements have been <br />calculated in general conformance with the procedure <br />recommended by the ACI (ACI 330R-08) using the <br />parameters presented in the table below. The following <br />design parameters were used in our analyses. See Table 6 of <br />the Geotechnical Report for recommended concrete <br />pavement sections. <br />- The project civil engineer shall confirm whether the <br />assumed Average Annual Daily Traffic (AADT) is <br />appropriate for the anticipated traffic level. Concrete <br />compressive strength for pavement should be at least <br />3,700 psi. Rigid concrete pavement shall be placed in <br />driveway entrance aprons, trash bin loading/storage areas, <br />or other areas of the project site as desired. Crack control <br />joints shall be placed in accordance with the ACI <br />guidelines.
