City of Santa Ana <br />Pavement Management Program Update RFP No. 19-070 <br />August 6, 2019 <br />Resumes <br />Per the options outlined in the RFP, we have included our key staff resumes in Appendix A. <br />Understanding of Need <br />The City of Santa Ana is required by the Orange County Transportation Authority (OCTA) to update its <br />pavement management plan every two years in order to be eligible receive funds from Measure M2 turn - <br />back funds. The Pavement Management Program Update RFP No. 19-070 is the City's action to comply. <br />This project seeks to perform pavement condition updates the MPAH and Local streets for the City. The <br />steps the City has set forth to accomplish this, is as follows: <br />" Add new street sections to the StreetSaver database <br />0 Perform condition surveys on MPAH and Local street networks <br />4 Compare the PCI's of all street sections to the previous survey of 2018 (determine probable reason <br />for PCI discrepancies of +/- 10 points. <br />41 Update unit prices for treatments the City performs <br />40 Perform budgetary analysis per OCTA PMP Guidelines <br />41 Complete the M2 PMP Template for submission. <br />V Prepare a final report for City to deliver to Council <br />«" Work with StreetSaver developers to design and create custom reports that are needed by City <br />staff <br />4" As an optional task, update StreetSaver GIS Toolbox to reflect street sections and linking in <br />conjunction with the City's ESRI GIS program. <br />III Provide regular project updates to City staff. <br />Relevant Project Experience <br />NCE has performed similar PMP updates for over 50 cities and counties located in Southern California <br />alone.
