Agreement with CASA 2019-2022 <br />October 1, 2019 <br />Page 4 <br />2. Salary: The agreement provides a cost of living adjustment of 3.5% effective July 1, 2019; <br />2020; 2021; with removal of "me too" clause. Salary increases apply to those members <br />employed upon adoption of the MOU. <br />3. Medical: Effective January 1, 2020, the City shall contribute an additional $50.00 <br />allowance per month towards employee health insurance premiums. Effective January 1, <br />2021, the City shall contribute an additional $50.00 allowance per month towards <br />employee health insurance premiums. Effective January 1, 2022, the City shall contribute <br />an additional $50.00 allowance per month towards employee health insurance premiums. <br />Part-time Civil Service will receive a pro -rated allowance equal to 75% of the applicable <br />coverage level. <br />4. Dental: Effective January 1, 2020, the City shall contribute an allowance of $100 per <br />month per employee. Effective January 1, 2021, the City shall contribute an allowance of <br />$105 per month per employee. Effective January 1, 2022, the City shall contribute an <br />allowance of $110 per month per employee. Part-time Civil Service will receive a pro -rated <br />allowance equal to 75% of the applicable coverage level. <br />5. Long-term Disability (LTD): Effective January 1, 2020, the City shall increase the level of <br />benefit coverage from the current 60-day plan at $5,000 maximum benefit to a 60-day plan <br />with a $7,500 maximum benefit). <br />6. Life: Effective January 1, 2020, the City shall increase the Group Term Life benefit <br />coverage from $30,000 to $50,000. <br />7. Holiday Closure: The City and CASA have agreed to a mandatory City-wide winter holiday <br />closure each year during the term of this MOU and shall sunset on June 30, 2022.
