*:/ : 11-1 h WA <br />Raitt Street Site <br />Raitt Street Site is located highly urbanized residential area surrounded by single and multi -family units on <br />all sides. The nearest non-residential uses from the Raitt Street Site are industrial uses approximately 550 <br />feet to the west, on the west side of Daisy Avenue. The nearest fecfeational facilities from the Raitt Street <br />Site is Jerome Park, approximately 0.4 to the southwest, and Friendship Park is approximately 0.42 mile <br />to the west. <br />10. Have California Native American tribes traditionally and culturally affiliated with the project <br />area requested consultation pursuant to Public Resources Code section 21080.3.1? If so, is there a <br />plan for consultation that includes, for example, the determination of significance of impacts to <br />tribal cultural resources, procedures regarding confidentiality, etc.? <br />Note: Conducting consultation earlyin the CEQA process allows tribal governments, lead agencies, and <br />project proponents to discuss the level of environmental review, identify and address potential adverse <br />impacts to tribal cultural resources, and reduce the potential for delay and conflict in the environmental <br />review process. (See Public Resources Code section 21080.3.2) Information may also be available from <br />the California Native American Heritage Commission's Sacred Lands File per Public Resources Code <br />section 5097.94 and the California Historical Resources Information System administered by the <br />California Office of Historic Preservation. Please also note that Public Resources Code section <br />21082.3(c) contains provisions specific to confidentiality. <br />The City of Santa Ana received the list of tribal groups that may be affiliated with the project area from <br />the Native American Heritage Commission, and sent letters requesting consultation to six tribal groups. <br />The consultation request letters were sent on December 5, 2018 via mail and email, and the tribes were <br />given 30 days to respond to the fequest. The 30-day closed on January 4, 2019, and no response was <br />received. See Section 3.17, Tribal Cultural Resources. <br />75C-52 <br />
