Butler, Jr,, <br />Project Director <br />Professional Summary <br />Mr, Butler serves as Vice -President and Chief Financial Officer for Butler <br />Engineering. His primary duties include functioning as the primary point of <br />contact between Butler and its clients; contract management; sub -consultant <br />contract management; maintenance of Butler's project information system; <br />development of the firm's field procedural manuals; and staff resource <br />management. Mr. Butler works closely with the field construction management <br />staff to ensure all contract scope requirements are being fully implemented. Mr. <br />Butler also serves as the firm's contact between the field construction <br />management staff/client and the project public outreach effort, when necessary. <br />He has been responsible for generating, distributing, and presenting to <br />numerous public boards and community associations dealing with the impact of <br />construction activity on the local community. <br />Project Experience <br />Project Director, Mid -Basin Injection: Centennial Park Project; Santa <br />Ana, CA; Orange County Water District (Est. Completion: 201$)—The <br />Mid -Basin Injection project consists of the construction of the following: four <br />groundwater injection wells in below grade vaults; a monitoring well at the <br />Heritage Museum site; a purified recycled water injection supply pipeline <br />approximately 5,000 feet long that connects to the District's existing <br />Groundwater Replenishment System (GWRS) pipeline and crosses the Santa <br />Ana River; a backflush discharge pipeline approximately 4,000 feet long that <br />discharges to the Greenville -Banning Channel and Centennial Park Lake; <br />installation of submersible pumps within the four Injection wells; replacement <br />of approximately 9.6 acres of paving within the Park; demolishing an existing <br />City of Santa Ana restroom facility; and constructing two new buildings with <br />shared City and District uses. Butler is coordinating closely with the City of <br />Santa Ana, Santa Ana Unified School District, Heritage Museum, and <br />state and federal agencies. <br />Project Director, Edinger Avenue Well —Phase 11 Equipping Project; City <br />of Tustin, Public Works (Estimated Completion: 2016; Value: <br />$4,103,650)—Butier is providing construction management and inspection <br />services for the Edinger Avenue Well - Phase 11 Equipping Project. <br />Construction of the building and equipping of the pump includes installation of <br />a 225 LF of 12-inch diameter CML ductile iron pipe discharge water line; <br />connection to 12-inch ductile Iron watermain; installation of 162 LF of 18-inch <br />diameter C-905 drain line; connection to the existing storm drain; placement <br />of new onsite sewer manhole; installation of 76 LF of 8-inch diameter SDR 26 <br />sewer lateral; and connection to existing OCSD sewer manhole. The scope of <br />work also includes the erection of 2,376 SF of CMU block wail with a metal <br />roof building to enclose the well pump, electrical equipment and chlorine <br />room. The project Is part of the City of Tustin's Water Services Division, <br />which is responsible for the production and safe delivery of domestic water to <br />more than 14,100 service connections through approximately 172 miles of <br />water mains, Butler staff coordinated with several agencies including the City <br />of Tustin, City of Santa Ana, and Caltrans. <br />
