paid time, to take two (2) hours of compensatory time off for the standby time <br />and not appearing in court. <br />If such off -duty employee on standby actually appears in court, he/she shall be <br />compensated as provided in Section 5.11A(1). <br />B. jury Duty or Witness <br />1. When an on -duty employee is called to serve as a juror or non-party witness in <br />any court action, he/she shall be allowed to leave for the time actually required <br />for such service without loss of pay. <br />Each on -duty employee called for such service shall present his/her Department <br />Head the jury summons or subpoena calling him/her to such service and shall <br />pay into the City Treasury the fees collected for such service, excluding any <br />reimbursement for mileage expenses. <br />2.
