Award Contract to California Professional Engineering, Inc., for Pacific Electric Bike Trail <br />and Saddleback View Park Security Lighting Projects <br />December 17, 2019 <br />Page 3 <br />Analysis (Exhibit 4) and as summarized in the table below, the estimated total construction delivery <br />cost of the project is $568,409. <br />Construction Contract <br />$421,043 <br />Construction Administration, Inspection, and Testing <br />$63,157 <br />Contingencies <br />$84,209 <br />ESTIMATED CONSTRUCTION DELIVERY COST <br />$568,409 <br />STRATEGIC PLAN ALIGNMENT <br />Approval of this item supports the City's efforts to meet Goal #6 - Community Facilities & <br />Infrastructure, Objective #1 (Establish and maintain a Community Investment Plan for all City <br />assets), Strategy B (Equitably maintain existing streets and associated assets in a state of good <br />repair so they are clean, safe, and aesthetically pleasing for all users), and Strategy G (Develop <br />and implement the City's Capital Improvement Program in coordination with the Community <br />Investment Plan - e.g., neighborhood streets, traffic improvements, etc.)). <br />ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT <br />In accordance with the California Environmental Quality Act, the recommended actions are exempt <br />from further review. Categorical Exemption Environmental Review No. ER-2017-142 and ER- <br />2018-106 were filed for the projects. <br />FISCAL IMPACT <br />As indicated in the Cost Analysis (Exhibit 4), the estimated total construction delivery cost of the <br />project is $568,409, which includes the construction contract, contract administration, inspection, <br />testing, and project contingency.
