Amend the Construction Contract with G.J. Gentry General Engineering, Inc., for the <br />Citywide Sewer Main Improvements Project <br />January 21, 2020 <br />Page 2 <br />As shown in the table above, requested funding is to cover construction costs only. Construction <br />administration and testing/inspection costs are not increasing. <br />STRATEGIC PLAN ALIGNMENT <br />Approval of this item supports the City's efforts to meet Goal #6 — Community Facilities & <br />Infrastructure, Objective #1 (establish and maintain a Community Investment Plan for all City <br />assets), Strategy B (equitably maintain existing streets and associated assets in a state of good <br />repair so they are clean, safe, and aesthetically pleasing for all users); Strategy C (invest resources <br />and technology to extend the service life of existing infrastructure to protect the City's investment <br />and support a high quality of life standard). <br />ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT <br />In accordance with the California Environmental Quality Act, the recommended action is exempt <br />from further review. Categorical Exemption Environmental Review No. ER-2018-30 was filed for <br />the project. <br />FISCAL IMPACT <br />As indicated in the Cost Analysis (Exhibit 2), the revised construction delivery cost estimate for the <br />project is $1,779,500.
