Qualified Stormwater Developer <br />responsible for providing the SWPPP for the project improvements of this <br />historic bridge. Tetra Tech provided environmental documentation and <br />permitting, geotechnical and hydraulic analyses, bridge widening and <br />retrofit, traffic and lighting upgrades, and 100% PS&E in an effort to fix <br />geometric deficiencies, barrier rail vulnerabilities, structural weaknesses, <br />and LA River Bicycle Lane impedance issues. This is a federally funded <br />project and plan reviews and approvals by Caltrans District 7 and the <br />Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) were required. <br />Aliso Creek - Limekiln Creek Restoration, City of Los Angeles Bureau <br />of Engineering, Los Angeles, CA. Project Engineer and Assistant Project <br />Manager responsible for overseeing predesign and design services. The <br />project improvements involve constructing several stormwater BMPs <br />intended to treat onsite and offsite runoff and reduce contamination in <br />Aliso Creek, Limekiln Creek, and the Los Angeles River. The proposed <br />BMPs include low flow channel diversions, stormwater pump stations, <br />stormwater pre-screening devices, bioswales, vegetated detention/ <br />retention basin, the restoration of upland, riparian habitat, and BMP <br />educational signage. The project was designed to achieve a Platinum <br />Envision Rating. <br />Albion Riverside Park, City of Los Angeles Bureau of Engineering, <br />Los Angeles, CA. Project Engineer and Assistant Project Manager <br />responsible for overseeing design and construction support services. <br />The project involves transforming a six -acre site, previously used <br />for dairy warehousing and distribution, into a riverfront park and <br />recreational facility that will benefit nearby disadvantaged low income <br />neighborhoods. In addition, the City is using the redeveloped property to <br />increase the current capacity for managing stormwater runoff. The project <br />was designed to achieve a Platinum Envision rating. <br />Peck Park Canyon Enhancement, City of Los Angeles, Bureau of <br />Engineering, San Pedro, CA. Project Engineer and Engineer of Record <br />responsible for overseeing project design components and incorporating <br />the latest LID design strategies in water quality improvement, BMPs, <br />landscape architecture, LEED, and public outreach. Project improvements <br />included the implementation of bioswales and infiltration strips at the <br />top of the canyon, using stepped and armored channels, dissipaters and <br />stilling basins to reduce runoff velocities and erosion throughout the <br />remainder of the park. Also included were reconstruction of trails, passive <br />recreational amenities and interpretive signage. <br />Vista Canyon Regional Transit Center, City of Santa Clara, CA. Project <br />Manager.
