Adopt an ordinance approving Amendment Application No. 2018-09 to create the Specific <br />Development No. 95 (SD-95) zone. <br />Request of Applicant <br />Michael Welles, on behalf of Calvary Church, is requesting approval of an Amendment Application <br />(AA) to change the zoning of three properties owned by Calvary Church. Specifically, the applicant is <br />requesting a zone change from Professional (P) to the Specific Development No. 95 (SD-95) <br />designation for properties located at 1010 and 1100-B North Tustin Avenue. <br />Project Location and Site Description <br />The project site is an irregular shaped lot totaling 10.8-acres in size and is located at the southwest <br />corner of Tustin and Wellington Avenues. The project site consists of three separate properties <br />that contain 10 different structures. The structures are two stories in height and total approximately <br />344,257 square feet of building area. All buildings on the site are occupied by church related uses, <br />including religious and educational functions. Calvary Church is open every day from 8 a.m. to 5 <br />p.m., with an administrative staff overseeing church business. Other on -site activities generally <br />have the campus remaining open until 10 p.m. On Sunday, services are held at 9 a.m. and 11 a.m. <br />The Church also operates the year round Calvary Christian Preschool Monday through Friday from <br />6:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. Calvary Christian School, a Kindergarten-8th Grade facility, also operates <br />Monday through Friday, from September through June, from 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. <br />75B-25 <br />
