30`h More dust observed crossing walls of the back yard of the Poplar homes. Called AQMD <br />have yet to hear from them. <br />31 new contractor was cleaning cracks and sealing them, creating lot of dust in the cleaning of <br />cracks. Scott Kutner inform me that the city code enforcement was shutting the job site down <br />for no permit or business License.) was told they could not work till they had The city license <br />and permits <br />Sat. Nov 2 <br />A sub contractor came in and washed the parking lot of the asphalt milling, letting the milling <br />go into the gutter on 1300 block of Sharon Rd then 2500 block of poplar, traveling down to <br />1400 to 1500 River LN into the storm drain and Santiago Creek. <br />Monday Nov 4th <br />Received a call from neighbor asking about all the black mud laying in gutter of Sharon and Poplar Rd. I <br />went to the Church parking lot and found two contractor employees blowing the dirt and dust over the <br />wall again and it was before 8 am. I ask them to stop and said I thought the job was shut down by the <br />city. Craig Foster of public works showed up and the workers were blowing dust again. Craig went to <br />the Church to talk to them. About a hour later I was talking to Catalina Garibay-Vegas at her home on <br />Poplar and dust was crossing over her wall. I asked Craig to shut them down again. Later I went to the <br />church parking lot to meet with Code Enforcement Officer, Toni Carvalho seeing that they were <br />blowing asphalt dust with Toni watching them. I asked her why they were blowing dust on a job that <br />was shut down. She said she wanted to see what the problem was with the dust going over the walls. <br />Less than 30 seconds later the dust was going over the wall. I called the AQMD and left a message <br />about the dust. No response from AQMD <br />That after noon the Contractor was starting to clean up the mud and dirt on our streets <br />Nov 5T" <br />Contractor is pressure washing the curb and gutter and using sand bags to capture the asphalt <br />milling.
