<br />survey will identify horizontally and vertically existing
<br />facilities and features within the limitof work inelud,

<br />curb returns, sidewalk, driveways, bus pads, grade
<br />breaks, right-of,way, manholes, utility vaults
<br />and boxes, utility cabinets and equipment, street
<br />and traffic lights, utility poles, fire hydrants, drainage
<br />structures, survey monuments, street furniture,
<br />signage, fencing, and building faces constructed in
<br />close proximity to the right-of-way. Storm drain catch
<br />basin and manhole will be dipped to record invert
<br />elevations where manholeJids are not bolted down.
<br />The dipping of sewer manhole and other utility struc-
<br />tures is not included in this scope of work, In addition
<br />to the above items, centerline crosstsectionswill be
<br />provided at 100-foot intervals, Contours will be dis-
<br />played at half -foot intervals. It is assumed traffic con-
<br />trol will not be required tor perform the topographic
<br />Survey.
<br />Electronic base maps will be prepared in US
<br />Customary English Units by a *California Licensed
<br />Land Surveyor.. The survey will comply with the City's
<br />guidelines, and the final survey file deliverable will
<br />be provided in MicroStation V8i Computer Aided
<br />Design and Drafting (CADD) format, Survey control
<br />will be tied horizontally to the North American
<br />Datum of 1983 (NAD83) through GPS post processing
<br />constrained to the California Spatial References
<br />Center, Epoch 2017 Control. Vertical control will, be
<br />tied to -the North American Vertical Datum of1988
<br />(NAVD88) by occupation of the nearest City of Santa
<br />Ana or NGS benchmark controlled by that datum. It
<br />the benchmark used is not within site distance of the
<br />Project, a local survey benchmark will be established
<br />for use duringconstruction.
<br />The Property Line surveys will be performed to
<br />establish the limits of the public right-of-way in
<br />the vicinity of the project. Sufficient boundary
<br />monumentation will be recovered to orient
<br />survey boundary.compiled from record documents.
<br />Additional available easements will also be plotted. A
<br />full boundary establishment survey is not believed to
<br />be necessaryand is not included at this time.
