EXPERIENCE <br />Sixth Street Park, Arts, River and Connectivity <br />(PARC), City of Los Angeles Bureau of Engineering, <br />Los Angeles, CA. Project Manager responsible <br />for overseeing the schematic and final design, <br />environmental documentation and permitting, public <br />presentations, construction support services, and post- <br />constructionservicesfor nearly 12 acres of recreational <br />and open spaces beneath and around the new <br />bridge. The project includes approximately'T2 mite of <br />improvements including dike trails, pedestrian access, <br />and softening of the existing concrete lined channel. The <br />Citftgoal is to make the landscape component tinder <br />the new bridge into a world class public space that <br />Witt include an Arts Plaza, several performance stages, <br />synthetic turf sports fields, river terracing, and bicycle <br />and pedestrian pathways.. <br />Riverside Drive Zoo Bridge, City of Los Angeles <br />Bureau of Engineering, Las, Angeles, CA. Visual Quality <br />Manager and Landscape Architect for the seismic retrofit <br />and widening of Riverside Drive. Tetra Tech provided <br />final environmental documentation and processing, <br />hydraulic analysis,100% PS&E, and design support <br />during right-of-way and construction phases of the <br />project. The goal of the project was to correct existing <br />geometrical design deficiencies, address seismic <br />vulnerabilities, improve pedestrian and bicycle travel, <br />and preserve the historic character of the bridge. The <br />project also included the addition of Class I bicycle <br />undercrossing to link eastern and western segments of <br />the Los Angeles River bike trail. <br />Active Transportation Project (ATP) 2 and 3, City of <br />Los Angeles Bureau of Engineering, Los Angeles, £A. <br />Principal -in -Charge responsible for overseeing design <br />services acid support during construction for the Boyle <br />Heights Linkage Project (ATP 2) and the Arts District <br />Pedestrian/Cyclist Improvement Project (ATP 3).. The <br />goal of ATP 2 is to improve pedestrian safety and access <br />to the City's Sixth Street Viaduct and Sixth Street PARC <br />Projects, specifically aiming to improvethe pedestrian <br />circumstances for users of the Aliso Pico Recreation <br />Center, Pecan Recreation Center, and Boyle Heights <br />Technology Youth Center. The ATP 3 Projectwill provide <br />pedestrian and cyclist improvements including new <br />cycle tracks, bike lanes, bike routes, new and widened <br />sidewalks with curb extensions; new traffic controlled <br />intersections, a new shared street connecting to the <br />new Sixth Street Viaduct Arts Plaza, as well as green <br />street elements. The goal of these two Caltrans Local <br />Assistance Program funded projects is to increase the <br />mobility and safetyfor non motorized users to achieve <br />the regional agency's greenhouse gas reduction goals, <br />and aid in the enhancement of the public's health. <br />Soto Street Bridge Improvement, City of Los Angeles <br />Bureau of Engineering, Los Angeles.
