Mr. Schreiner is serving as the project manager during the bidding and construction administration phases of this large-scale stormwater project to capture,; infiltrate and reuse urban runoff collected from County drainage facilities adjacent to the park: The project wasptanned as part of the Los Cerritos Channel (LCC) watershed and the Lower San Gabriel River (LSGR) Watershed Management Programs (WMPs). Caruthers Park was identified as a potential high priority site for a regional stormwater capture project for non-stormwater runoff as well as first -flush runoff from wet weather events. The projectcomponents include site improvements; a diversion structure to d ivert water from the fibod control channel, a pretreatment structure to remove trash and debris from the runoff, an underground structure to infiltraterand storethe water that will be treated forlandscape irrigation use, and piping systems.
