B <br />EXPERIENCE <br />Culver Boulevard Stormwater Infiltration and <br />Retention Project, City ofculver City, cA. Design <br />Lead. Mr. Fussel is serving as the Design Lead for this <br />multi -beneficial stormwaterregional project. Tetra <br />Tech was recently selected by the City of Culver City to <br />provide design services to incorporate an infiltration <br />gallery under a newly reconstructed raised median <br />along; Culver Boulevard. The project will also include <br />retention basins to reuse captured stormwater runoff <br />and urban runoff to irrigate local landscape medians <br />Within the_ project area. The overall landscape design <br />of this projectwill include green elements such as <br />bioswales alongthe raised median and adjacent <br />roadways to further promote stormwater pollution <br />prevention education, <br />T'aylorYard Bikeway and Pedestrian Bridge, Studio <br />Pali Fekete Architects forthe City of Los Angeles, Los <br />Angeles, CA. Project Engineer and Engineer of Record <br />responsible for providing civil engineering services for a <br />420-feet long modern style and aesthetically distinctive <br />pedestrian/bikeway bridge crossing the Los Angeles <br />River. The pedestrian bridge will carry two lanes of <br />pedestrian, bicycle traffic, two DwP recycled water lines <br />and include scenic views of the Los Angeles River. The <br />project will be solar powered, from the LED bridge and <br />pathway lighting and sgnage to the irrigation systems. <br />Sixth Street Park, Arts, River and Connectivity <br />(PARC), City of Los Angeles Bureau of Engineering, <br />Las Angeles, CA. Technical Advisor forthe schematic <br />and final design, environmental documentation and <br />permitting, public presentations, construction support <br />services, and post Construction services for nearly <br />12 acres of recreational and open spaces beneath <br />and around the new bridge. The project includes <br />approximately 1l2 mile of improvements within the <br />Los Angeles River. These improvements will include <br />bike trails, pedestrian access, and softening of the <br />existing concrete tined channel. These improvements <br />were originally envisioned in the Los Angeles River <br />Revitalization Master Plan that Tetra Tech completed. <br />The City's goal is to make the landscape component <br />anderthe new bridge a World class public spacethat <br />will Include an Arts Plaza, several performance.stages, <br />synthetic sports f elds, river terracing, and bicycle and <br />pedestrian pathways. <br />Shell Beach Road Streetscape Phase 1, Cityof Pismo <br />Beach, Pismo Beach, CA. Project Engineerforthe <br />design of a "total street" reconstruction of 18 blocks of <br />Shell Beach Road, The projectentails incorporatinga <br />new Class i bikewayalong an existing Caltrans right- <br />of-way (Highway 101). In addition, theproject aims to <br />replace aging utilities, including: a new 12-inch water <br />line, new 12-inch reclaimed water line, undergrounding <br />power and communication lines; and new storm <br />drain improvements. The project will incorporate <br />new way -finding and Streetscape enhancements <br />including: pavement enhancements at crosswalks and <br />intersections, full ADA compliance, street furniture and <br />landscape improvements incorporating LID techniques. <br />Mr. Fussel was responsible for designing the layout for <br />the bike path, curb bulbouts, potable and reclaimed <br />RESUMES 25Ke-74'S <br />
