Plaza. Mr. Duong is responsible to workolosely with city departments <br />including, Bureau of Engmeering (LABOE), Bureau- of Street Lighting <br />(I,ABSL) and Department of Transportation (LADQT) in, the preparation <br />of signal warrants for Active Pedestrian Warning Device (APWD) and <br />thew vehicular traffic signal design at various intersections and mid -block <br />crossing locations. Mr, Duong is also responsible for the coordination <br />and investigations of all utilities within the proposed project footpr`unt #o <br />prepare.the composite utility base map for the final design stage of the <br />Project, He is also tasked to coordinate and work with LABSL on the <br />design and implementation of different types of pedestrian lighting at <br />various s'u•eet segemcnts within "the project "footprint in nomflianee'to <br />Prop, 218, Yre-Design Reports :are also part of the project scopes to be <br />delivered, <br />City of Los Angeles -Bureau of Engineering (TABQE), Construction <br />Management Division — Parker Center Demolition Project, Los <br />Angeles, C.A <br />The existing Parker Center is formerly head -quarter of the Los Angeles <br />Police Department (LAPD), Since 16Northridge quake in 1994,'the <br />building has been `yellow -tagged" and has been mostly empty since <br />2009 and increasingly forlorn. As part of the larger Civic Center Master <br />Plan proposed by 14th District City Counoilman Jose' Huizar, a new` <br />tower will b_ e eonsttructed and the existing Parker Center would be <br />demolished. The proposed demolition of the existing, building will be <br />delivered via design build method. The project: scope includes <br />demolition of the Parker Center 'building; basement adjacent parking <br />structure, arid all associated deep and shallow foundation's, The project <br />scope will also include grading, storm water management and the <br />relocation of a major communication duct bank to the public right of <br />way. The replacement of Parker Center would be die f rst'step in a'larger <br />remark that the City of Los Angeles has planned for its sterile Civic <br />Center. The Alliance Group Enterprise, hic, has been selected as the <br />prune designer to provide all civil engineering design aspects of the <br />project including the design of the new ITA coinmuiiication ductbwik, <br />temporary ;and permanent perimeter fencing and lighting for the site, <br />utility investigations, woiksite traffic controls for the construction of the <br />new communication duct bank along First Street, Los Angeles Street, <br />Temple Street and Judge John Aiso Street along with all -necessary <br />grading, drainage and water quality management for the project. As the <br />Project Manager, Mr, Duong has worked very closely with the contractor <br />and various city departments umefuding LADQT, LADBS, L'ABQE, <br />Tranpottation Construction Traffic Management Committee (TCTMC) <br />and Council. District 14 Office on very fast -paced environment to get <br />design plans approved so that the project can start on -time, <br />City of Los Angeles -Bureau of Engineering (LABOE)-Sixth Street <br />Viaduct Division, Sixth Street Viaduct Replacement Project <br />(CAIG ), Los Angeles, CA <br />Sixth Street Viaduct Rephicement Project.is a new iconic bridge which is <br />approximately 3,700' in length (700' long approach embankment plus <br />3,000' of elevated structure) and 94' wide out -to -out total bridge width. <br />The total construction cost of the project is over $420 Million, The <br />Alliance Group Enterprise, Inc. (TALE), is seeped to provide <br />25K-54 <br />
