The utilities involved in this study includes but not limited to <br />Los Angeles County Sanitation District (LACSD), Southern California <br />Gas (SCG), Souther California Edison (SCE), City of Los Angeles <br />Department of water and Power (LADWP); AT&T, Los Angeles County <br />Flood Contrail District (LACFCD), Caltrans, etc, <br />California High Speed. Rail .Authority — :Palmdale to Burbank <br />Transportation Center southward to the Burbank Airport Station and is <br />approximately 45 miles long. The project route alternative would haluel <br />under the San Gabriel Mountains. The proposed project route should be <br />the shorter route and avoid many:mpacts'to communities along the SR <br />14 corridor. However, this route alternative itrust be studied in depth to <br />fully understand both community and resource impacts. The Alliance <br />Group Conwiting, as the utility lead for this 'segment„ is responsible to <br />perform and investigate the utilities impacts along the" corridor for -lie <br />Environmental Impact Studies/Enyiromneirtal'hnpaet Report (EiR/E1S) <br />There are3 rail alignment alternatives along with several roadway re- <br />alignment, ;grade separation, access roads, ete...to be studied along with <br />several hundred utility Imes to be mapped, evaluated and/or designed to <br />relocate to avoid the potential conflicts from the proposed rail <br />alignments, Many of those facilities are major/high risk utility lines such <br />as M4VD, SCE transmission, pump stations, ete...Tbe proposed rail <br />alignment and the project footprint crosses several :cities including <br />Pubudale, 1)urb;uk San Fernando Valley, San Gabriel Mountain and the <br />County of Los Angeles.. <br />Metropolitan Water District (VIWD), Pre -stressed Concrete <br />Cylinder Pipe (PCC) Rehabilitation Project, Rialto Feeder <br />This Rialto Pipeline convoys State Water Projeet water from the <br />California Department of Water Resources' Devil Canyon Power Plant <br />to Metropolitan's San Dumas Flow Control Facility near Live Oak' <br />Reservoir, The pipeline is approximately �0 miles long and was <br />constricted in 1973. The pipeline passes through the Cities of San <br />Bernardino, Rialto, Fontana, Rancho Cucamonga, Upland, Claremont; <br />La Verne, and San Dimas and through portions of unincorporated San <br />Bernardino and Los Angeles Counties, Approximately" 16 miles of this <br />pipeline ate PCCP with diameters ranging from 96 inches to 120 <br />inches, while the remaining 14 miles are welded steel pipe with <br />diameters ranging from 96 inches to 120 inches.
