DISCUSS AND CONSIDER DIRECTING CITY MANAGER TO DIRECT STAFF <br />AS APPROPRIATE, THE CIT <br />IN RECREATIONAL VEHICLES (RVS) AND NEED TO UPDATE IT TO BETTER <br />COMPLY WITH CURRENT STANDARDS - COUNCILMEMBER SOLORIO <br /> <br />Councilmember Solorio requested for a resolution for enforcement of recreational <br />vehicles (RVs) and large vehicle code and requested for an update. <br /> <br />Council Member Iglesias requested that permit parking be provided to residents as an <br />option to park large size vehicles. <br /> <br />Council Member Penaloza spoke in support of the item. <br /> <br />85B. DISCUSS AND CONSIDER DIRECTING CITY MANAGER TO DIRECT STAFF <br />TO BRING FORWARD A RESOLUTION TO OPPOSE THE TRUMP <br />RESIDENTS AND IMMIGRANT COMMUNITY - COUNCILMEMBER PENALOZA <br /> <br />PUBLIC COMMENT <br /> <br />Claudio Gallegos, representing Congressman Lou Correa, spoke in support of the item. <br /> <br />Council Member Penaloza requested that a resolution be brought to Council to adopt in <br />opposition to the current change of the public charge rule. <br /> <br />Mayor Pro Tem Villegas recessed the meeting 7:29 p.m. and reconvened at 7:30 p.m. <br /> <br />Council Member Iglesias that educational efforts be added to the resolution. <br /> <br />Councilmember Penaloza motioned to adopt as amended, seconded by Mayor Pulido. <br /> <br />MOTION: Councilmember SECOND: Mayor Pulido <br />Penaloza <br />VOTE: AYES: Mayor Pulido, Mayor Pro Tem Villegas, <br />Councilmember Iglesias, Councilmember <br />Penaloza, Councilmember Solorio (5) <br /> <br /> NOES: None (0) <br /> <br />CITY COUNCIL MINUTES 15 September 17, 2019 <br /> <br /> <br />
