Residential For -Sale and Rental Housing <br />A housing resource survey was conducted to determine the availability of replacement <br />housing within the City of Santa Ana sufficient to meet the needs of displaced rental <br />tenants and homeowners. <br />The replacement housing survey considered available one, two, three and four -bedroom <br />conventional housing for rent and for sale. This data is summarized in Tables 5 and 6, below. <br />The conventional housing survey, Table 5, identified 43 currently available, one, two, three <br />and four -bedroom conventional housing units for rent. The survey of available single- <br />family residences for sale, Table 6, identified 56 currently available three and four -bedroom <br />housing units for sale. The variances in the rent range are a result of age, condition, <br />size, and locational factors. Rates are subject to change according to the market rates prevailing <br />at the time of displacement.
