Locking Bins - Contractor shall provide locking bin service to customers that request it at an <br />additional cost. See Section 4.3.12. <br />CITY GOVERNMENT OPERATIONS <br />City Facilities Collection (City Government Operations) - Contractor will collect and dispose <br />of all refuse, recyclables, and organic materials generated and accumulated at premises <br />owned and/or operated by the City at no additional charge (including e-waste, and <br />construction and demolition debris). Such premises include, but are not limited to, offices, <br />parks, and street maintenance operations. See Attachment 2-K for the current list of facilities <br />and service levels. The current contractor initiated food waste collection at several of the City <br />facilities, as shown in Attachment 2-K. It is the intent of the City that this service will be <br />offered at all City facilities generating food waste in the future. Note that these facilities and <br />service levels may vary over the term of the new agreement, with no increase in <br />compensation to the Contractor for additional collection services. See Sections 4.4.1 and 4.4.2. <br />City -Sponsored Events - The Contractor will be required to continue to provide refuse, <br />recyclables, and organics collection service at no charge at City -sponsored events. The <br />requirements and list of events is included in Section 4.4.3. Note that these events and service <br />levels may vary over the term of the new agreement, with no increase in compensation to the <br />Contractor for additional collection services. <br />Parkway Cleanup Following Garage Sales - Contractor will continue to provide two <br />employees in a front -loader vehicle for a combined 60 hours per quarter, each 6 working days <br />following the City s quarterly garage sales to remove debris left in parkways from the garage <br />sales. See Section 4.4.4. <br />Weekly Alley Cleanup - Contractor will continue to provide two employees in a front -loader <br />vehicle for 60 hours per week, each 6 working days each week to remove debris left in <br />alleyways. This service is increased to weekly, from 2 times per month in current agreement. <br />See Section 4.4.5. <br />Grant Administration - Contractor will continue to provide grant administration services on <br />behalf of the City for grants pursuant to those contained in AB 939 and/or adopted by <br />CalRecycle. The Contractor shall be reimbursed on an hourly basis for the grant <br />administrator's time at the rate agreed upon. See Section 4.4.6. <br />Emergency Services - Contractor will provide emergency services based on a rate which <br />includes one crew and one collection truck. Contractor to propose hourly rate in Attachment <br />3. <br />Battery Recycling Program - Contractor to provide as many battery recycling containers as <br />requested by City for placement at City facilities at no additional cost. Contractor shall collect <br />and replace containers upon City s request. See Section 4.4.8.
