Adopt resolution accepting grant funds from the State Coastal Conservancy for Santiago <br />Park Phase I Construction in the amount of $1,000,000. <br />2. Adopt resolution accepting grant funds from the State Coastal Conservancy for Santiago <br />Park Phase 11 Design in the amount of $250,000. <br />3. Approve an appropriation adjustment to recognize $1,250,000 in grant revenue from the <br />State Coastal Conservancy and appropriate $1,250,000 into the corresponding <br />expenditure account to implement the two projects in the Parks, Recreation and <br />Community Services Agency (PRCSA) Capital Grant Fund. <br />DISCUSSION <br />On July 30, 2019, the City of Santa Ana, Parks, Recreation and Community Services Agency <br />(PRCSA) submitted two applications to the State Coastal Conservancy for the following projects: <br />Santiago Park Gashouse — Grant Request $1,000,000 <br />This project develops the undeveloped area north of the old gashouse between Valencia <br />Street and the restroom. Scope of work will include picnic area, park walking/jogging path, <br />renovation of restroom and gashouse, amphitheater, security lighting, irrigation, <br />landscape, and removal of Valencia Street. The total project cost is $2,030,000. There is <br />$1,030,000 of funding identified in Acquisition and Development and In -Lieu funds for this <br />project. Those funds along with the grant award of $1,000,000 will fully fund this project <br />forward. Indirect/Overhead costs are not funded by the grant. <br />55A-1 <br />
