My mother-in-law currently lives in the city and is the very definition of
the high risk demographic. My husband is her primary caretaker, and we are both still required to work in non -essential
business (craft store for me, jewelry store for him). I am really scared of having to interact with the public needlessly and
getting her sick. Please consider closing non -essential businesses so that we may also have the opportunity to stay home
for her protection, as well as ours and the community at large. The only way we can try to get through the pandemic is if
we all work together to limit the people who get the virus, and the people who are shopping at our locations are very
obviously not taking the warnings seriously and are more likely also engaging in other risky behavior, which puts all of us
in danger.
Please do what you can to protect those of us who want to do the right thing and shelter in place at home, but are
required by our employers to go to jobs that sell non -essential items.
Thank you
Lisa Pinedo
Sent from my Whone
