1 <br />3 <br />4 <br />5 <br />6 <br />7 <br />8 <br />9 <br />lO <br />11 <br />12 <br />13 <br />14 <br />15 <br />16 <br />17 <br />18 <br />19 <br />20 <br />21 <br />22 <br />23 <br />24 <br />25 <br />26 <br />27 <br />28 <br />4.1 Personal Empowerment Program - Famil Su wort: <br />4.1.1 Human Options shall provide Personal Empowerment Program <br />(PEP) - Family Support services to parents and/or caregivers of children ages <br />birth through eighteen (0 - 18) years, and who are victims .of domestic <br />violence; hereinafter referred to as "PARTICIPANTS" for purposes of <br />Subparagraph 4.1 of this Exhibit. <br />4.1.2 Human Options shall provide PEP - Family Support services <br />for a minimum of fifty-four (54) unduplicated PARTICIPANTS. PEP - Family <br />Support services shall include classes covering the following topics: causes <br />of domestic violence; anger issues and teaching "time out"; connection of drug <br />and alcohol abuse to domestic violence; effects of violence on children; legal <br />issues; safety planning; and maintaining healthy relationships. Services <br />shall be provided in Spanish and English. <br />4.1.3 Human Options shall provide a minimum of eight (8) series <br />of classes during the term of the Agreement. Each series shall meet for two <br />(2) hours per week for ten (10) weeks. <br />4.1.4 Human Options shall provide PEP Family Support services <br />at the FRC. <br />4.1.5 Human Options shall measure progress by ensuring that <br />PARTICIPANTS complete a FaCT registration form and the FaCT standardized PEP <br />pre- and post-tests. <br />4.1.6 Human Options' PEP - Family Support services shall address <br />the following PSSF service categories: Family Preservation, Family Support, <br />Time -Limited Family Reunification, and Adoption Promotion and Support. <br />4 1.7 Human Options shall provide qualified PEP Facilitator <br />staff as specified in Subparagraph 14.11 of this Exhibit. <br />4.2 PEP - Time -Limited Family Reunification: <br />4.2.1 Human Options shall provide PEP - Time -Limited Family <br />(FNH0209) <br />15 of 42 <br />(3/18/09) <br />
