Approve Agreements for On -Call Construction Management and Inspection Services <br />April 21, 2020 <br />Page 2 <br />In accordance with the RFP, staff recommends awarding contracts to NV5, Wildan Engineering, <br />Psomas, Wallace and Associates Consulting, Michael Baker International, and Cordoba <br />Corporation (Exhibits 1 through 6). Each proposal demonstrated a high technical competency and <br />experience performing similar services. The proposals contained a clear path toward achieving <br />City goals and objectives as required by the RFP. <br />STRATEGIC PLAN ALIGNMENT <br />Approval of this item supports the City's efforts to meet Goal #6 - Community Facilities & <br />Infrastructure, Objective #1 (establish and maintain a Community Investment Plan for all City <br />assets), Strategy C (invest resources and technology to extend the service life of existing <br />infrastructure to protect the City's investment and support a high quality of life standard). <br />ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT <br />There is no environmental impact associated with this action. <br />FISCAL IMPACT <br />There is no fiscal impact at this time. Funding for these services is available in current year FY <br />2019-20 approved Capital Improvement Program (CIP) and Operating budgets, and will be <br />budgeted in future fiscal years. Prior to utilizing any of these on -call services, Public Works staff <br />must receive Finance & Management Services Agency approval of funding and accounts to <br />ensure that funds are available under the authorization and aggregate limit of these agreements. <br />Upon successful completion of this fiscal review, a corresponding Notice to Proceed containing <br />specific scope and maximum expenditure for the task order will be issued to a contractor <br />NS/CB/RR <br />Exhibits: 1.
