This will include: review of referral, contacting the assigned CW/WTW staff to discuss <br />referral and appropriate services, make initial contact with PARTICIPANT, and complete the <br />initial orientation. <br />3.3.2.2 Completion Rate: A minimum of seventy percent (70%) of <br />PARTICIPANTS exiting Paid WEX, who are not hired at the assigned placement, will obtain <br />unsubsidized employment within thirty (30) days. <br />3.3.2.3 Employment Rate: A minimum of sixty percent (60%) of <br />PARTICIPANTS will obtain unsubsidized employment at the assigned placement upon <br />completing Paid WEX activities. <br />4. CONTRACTOR RESPONSIBILITIES <br />CONTRACTOR shall: <br />4.1 Assign a Santa Ana Workforce Development Board (WDB) case manager who will <br />work closely with each PARTICIPANT to understand the PARTICIPANT's needs, assess career <br />goals, arrange an appropriate VTR assignment or Paid WEX placement based on the employment <br />goal indicated by CW/WTW staff on the referral, and in collaborative discussions with CW/WTW <br />staff, as needed. <br />4.2 Provide VTR services to PARTICIPANTS to meet the required participation hours <br />as referred by CW/WTW Staff. The hourly participation requirements are subject to change, <br />according to State and federal mandates. <br />4.3 Provide VTR services not to exceed twelve (12) months, to prepare <br />PARTICIPANTS for employment in a specific trade, occupation, or vocation. VTR activities are <br />to take place at vocational -technical schools, postsecondary institutions, or proprietary schools. <br />WGM0319 Page 3 of 19 3-31-2020 <br />25B-45 <br />
