1 <br />2 <br />3 <br />4 <br />5 <br />6 <br />7 <br />8 <br />9 <br />10 <br />11 <br />12 <br />13 <br />14 <br />15 <br />16 <br />17 <br />18 <br />19 <br />20 <br />21 <br />22 <br />23 <br />24 <br />25 <br />26 <br />27 <br />28 <br />Qualifications: <br />14.6.2.8 A minimum of three (3) years of experience in local <br />government or private economic development programs, one year of which must be as program <br />manager or project leader, or a Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with <br />specialization in economics, business or public administration, commercial finance may be used, <br />or any combination of education in economics, business or public administration, commercial <br />finance, training and experience equivalent to three (3) years experience which provide the <br />knowledge, skills and abilities of the job. <br />14.6.3 Senior Accounting Assistant <br />Duties: <br />14.6.3.1 Prepares and maintains financial and accounting records by <br />gathering, assembling, tabulating, comparing, verifying, and posting financial and statistical data. <br />14.6.3.2 Prepares or verifies and processes bills, invoices, and similar <br />documents. <br />14.6.3.3 Posts and balances cash books, ledgers, subsidiary journals, and <br />other financial and accounting records. <br />14.6.3.4 Reconciles accounts to general ledgers and prepares routing <br />reports and statements. <br />14.6.3.5 Analyzes and prepares reports of encumbrances and <br />expenditures for department programs. <br />14.6.3.6 Performs cost research and cost recovery analysis. <br />14.6.3.7 Receives money and maintains records of receipts, files of <br />invoices and other financial transaction documents. <br />Qualifications: <br />14.6.3.8 A minimum of two (2) years of experience performing <br />responsible accounting, financial, statistical or other specialized office clerical work supplemented <br />by courses in accounting, finance, business, office practices, or related coursework; or a <br />combination of two (2) years of training and experience, or courses in accounting, finance, <br />WGM0319 Page 18 of 19 3-31-2020 <br />25B-60 <br />
