GPA No. 2020-01 & ZOA No. 2020-02 <br />1109 North Broadway <br />April 21, 2020 <br />Page 5 <br />PUBLIC OUTREACH <br />Public Notification, and Community Outreach each <br />Public Notification & Community Outreach <br />Required Measures <br />A community meeting was held on February 19, 2020 at Original Mike's Restaurant in <br />accordance with the provisions of the City's Sunshine Ordinance. Invitations/notices were <br />mailed to property owners and occupants/tenants in a 500-foot radius from the project <br />site. Approximately 40 members of the public attended, as well as 3 City staff. The <br />applicant provided all the required information to the City after the meeting. Details from <br />the community meeting were posted to the project's webpage at https://www.santa- <br />ana.org/pb/planning-division/major-plannina-projects-and- <br />documents/one broadwayplaza. <br />Notification by mail was mailed to all property owners, occupants, and other interested <br />parties within 500 feet of the project site in accordance with SAMC requirements. <br />Newspaper posting was published in the Orange County Register in accordance with <br />SAMC requirements. <br />Additional Measures <br />Staff has been in contactwith interested groups and/or individuals regarding the proposed <br />project. <br />FISCAL IMPACT <br />There is no fiscal impact associated with approval of these actions. <br />CONCLUSION <br />Based on the analysis provided within this report, it is recommended that the City Council adopt a <br />resolution approving the addendum to the previously certified EIR and re -adopt the MMRP, adopt a <br />resolution approving General Plan Amendment No. 2020-01, and adopt an ordinance approving <br />Zoning Ordinance Amendment No. 2020-02. <br />Exhibits: 1.
