One and one-half percent (1.50%) will be deducted from each employee's base pay and <br />deposited into his/her individual RHS account each pay period. This contribution shall <br />be made on a pre-tax basis. <br />2. Upon an employee's termination of employment, the cash value of thaw eligible sick <br />leave balances will be deposited into the individual's RHS account, based on the <br />guidelines in the RIIS Plan adoption agreement, to provide the employee and his/her <br />designated eligible dependents, if any, with benefits under any health insurance <br />program including, but not limited to, the program maintained by the City. <br />3. Upon retirement, the balance of an employee's accumulated, but unused sick leave, <br />after eligible RHS payments are made, will be converted into Ca1PERS Service Credit <br />per Section 11.3A and Government Code §20965. <br />10.7 Vision hnsurance <br />A. The City shall offer employees a vision insurance plan. <br />R.
