Take for example the homes north of 17th St., the streets, <br />sidewalk and homes are more presentable but as soon as you leave this <br />paradise you enter the sad but true reality of Santa Ana that has been <br />forgotten. Why do the rest of good residents have to suffer of the home <br />the can afford on other sections of the city but have to live next to crime, <br />hearing gun shots at night, seeing the helicopter daily because of a new <br />crime, loud neighbors with no respect for others by having loud music. <br />71. Lots - based on the choices on some of the questions above, economic <br />development seems to equal a giveaway of taxpayer dollars to private <br />businesses. I do not support that. For housing, the city should start <br />implementing strict rules on rental housing - licensing, upkeep, etc. the <br />condition of rental housing in this city is shameful, and landlords know they <br />can get away with it. The city does not exercise the power it has to effect <br />change. <br />72. 1 believe the older community centers must be updated. Children, families <br />enjoy the activities offered by most community centers but they lack a lot <br />of things. I live by Memorial Park and our center is not in very good shape. <br />73.
